scheduled the following Demos and Workshops for the Birmingham Bizarre
Bazaar. All events have been confirmed but may be subject to change. So
please check out the website monthly so you will know for sure. Special

All demos and workshops begin
at _1:30_ and are held on the top floor, unless otherwise stated. There
is a lift and most areas of the venue are wheelchair friendly.

It's All In The Mind
What is the BDSM connection between Mind and Body?
Controlled orgasm, reverse reflexology, the ability to turn pain into
pleasure - what triggers it for you? Can subs be taught how to do it? Can
Dominants learn how to teach them?
On Sunday 20th June the Birmingham Bizarre Bazaar hosted a discussion on
these and related topics, with the help of some scene friends with both
practical and theoretical knowledge in these areas <g>.

Electrics
Okay, here's a "plug" for a recent event, - one that hopefully "turned you on", especially the "switches"
amongst you. Remember, "resistance" is futile :)
The Birmingham Bizarre Bazaar was once again host to a
special
demonstration - the mysteries of Electrics.
TENS machines, the infamous Black Box, Violet Wands, and anything else we
could plug in! The demo also included details of the essential safety
elements we need to be aware of in using electricity.

Flogging - with Keith and The Leather Family
Apart from the hands and the
imagination, floggers are probably the most commonly used item in the
BDSM toolbox. And it's the area of S/M that we often take for granted.
After all, if you can't hit someone effectively, then what kind of Top
or Dom are you?
But the truth is, hitting someone effectively requires great skill,
and lots of practice. Because the key word is "effectively". What
effect are you intending to have, and are you using the right piece of
equipment, in the right way, to achieve it?
On Sunday 19th December, I was joined joined at the BBB by the Leather
Family for a demonstration on Flogging, which covered the creative
use of a wide range of floggers and how to use them safely and
skilfully. We also looked at the essentials to look for when you are
buying a flogger.
